visiTOUR.US Unified licenses (Lite or Pro) are hosted on our visiTOUR.US platform servers. Every license exists in the same system, uniquely identified by account. Each account features unlimited Tours, Stops, Objects, Tasks, and (if Pro) unlimited panorama Hotspots. This system is backed up nightly, and copies of the backups are stored remotely. License holders are advised to create Tour Package Backups (all Tour content, Stops, Objects, Tasks and Hotspots, as well as image, audio and video assets) on a regular basis and store them locally as a remote backup. Copies of Tours, Stops, Objects and Tasks can be created as their own backups within the system. This shared visiTOUR.US platform server makes low-cost yearly renewals possible. Every effort will be made to ensure maximum possible uptime of the server platform. Concerns about uptime and longevity of the visiTOUR.US Unified system may lead accountholders to the Dedicated option. Updates to the functionality of the system, including but not limited to PHP compatibility upgrades, will be built into the yearly cost of licenses.

The visiTOUR.US Dedicated license (Custom) is hosted on your server. This option is perfect for institutions that have an available infrastructure to host the PHP-compatible system and interface into a SQL database. Typically, Dedicated licenses are deployed within a subdirectory of your main site (https://www.greatmuseum.com/tour), but can be installed on any compatible service. With a Dedicated license, accountholders pay a one-time fee to purchase the software which can be customizable based on needs. The software cannot be copied or duplicated and redeployed without an additional applicable license. Dedicated licenses, because of setup and install processes, cannot feature a trial period. Dedicated licenses require custom panoramic image integration and processing, and will be proposed as such. Dedicated licenses feature the same uptime guarantees that are found in the server environment in which they exist, and responsibility for uptime lay with the license holder. Functional upgrades and PHP compatibility upgrades will be made available as necessary and may require an additional upgrade fee.
